Modern Slavery Policy

1. Introduction

1.1 Ascensor Limited, trading as Green Gecko (the Organisation), is a digital marketing agency based in Leeds, United Kingdom.

1.2 The Organisation is committed to conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. This includes continuously improving our practices and maintaining a firm commitment to preventing slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, servitude, exploitation, or any form of coercion within our business or supply chain.

1.3 The Organisation operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and will not knowingly engage with any individual, organisation or supplier that supports or is involved in slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour.

2. Our Business and Workforce

2.1 The Organisation operates solely within the United Kingdom and the European Union.

2.2 All employees are paid at or above the applicable National Living Wage or National Minimum Wage requirements. In addition, employees receive holiday pay and paid company holidays in accordance with UK employment law.

2.3 All employment terms are governed by formal Employment Agreements, mutually agreed between the employee and the Organisation.

2.4 The Organisation works with an outsourced HR provider who produces and advises on our terms and conditions of employment to ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation.

2.5 All employees undergo annual appraisals, during which performance, development and salary reviews are considered.

2.6 Where employment is terminated, whether by the employee or the Organisation, notice is provided in accordance with the employee’s contractual terms and applicable legislation.

2.7 Employees agree to fully co-operate in assisting the Organisation in maintaining accurate records of working hours for the purposes of compliance with the Working Time Regulations 1998.

3. Supply Chain and Third Parties

3.1 On occasion, the Organisation may work with third-party developers located within the European Union.

3.2 Such individuals are contracted directly on a freelance basis and are paid the agreed quoted price for any works undertaken.

3.3 The Organisation does not enter into business with any organisation, whether in the United Kingdom or abroad, that knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude, forced labour, or human trafficking.

3.4 The Organisation expects all suppliers and contractors to uphold the same ethical standards and to comply with all applicable labour and human rights legislation.

4. Commitment and Review

4.1 The Organisation remains committed to reviewing and improving its internal processes to ensure that modern slavery risks are identified, assessed and mitigated.

4.2 This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and other applicable legislation.

This Modern Slavery Policy is approved by the Directors of Ascensor Limited and is effective as of 2025.
